The S60 is awesome!
- Reviewd on: 2009-01-05 By: Andrea N.
Why all the negative reviews? The S60 surpassed all my expectations... The camera is gorgeous and quite an eye-catcher! The touch screen is responsive and I find that using the stylus helps against fingerprints. The screen is nice and big but, like some other reviews, is just a bit grainy. Rest assured, however, that the actual quality of the image is far superior than what you see on the screen. Images are crystal clear and true to color! The S60 is very user-friendly, but make sure to read through the manual for proper settings to ensure perfection; it is definitely not as long and tedious as other reviewers make it seem. I love this camera and I highly recommend it!

I researched this camera extensively, read many reviews and to be honest with you thought I made a mistake in buying this product. Don't listen to the negitive its all bull this camera is a great product, touch screen works very well,I can see where people wrote that the display is grainy, but they hesitate to tell you in very low light, other than that its good.
Picture quality I think is excellent. The reviews went 50/50 but I would say dismiss the negative 50%.

I can tell you about a camera that IS good...
- Reviewd on: 2009-01-01 By: Lisa Lisa
I was looking for a good new camera for my daughter and thought I'd read the reviews for this one...wow, I am so sorry to hear that people had a bad experience.
So I thought that I would offer that I own a SONY CYBER-SHOT 10.1 megpxls Carl Zeiss), which I got over a year ago, has the touch screen and all...and it is the best camera I ever had. Pictures great, easy to use, very compact, battery lasts long, I have nothing bad to say. I wish the case offered has been bigger maybe. BUT I was looking for a newer camera, and, this one is I think a year old, but you may wish to consider becasue it may be cheaper and it works great. Just my 2 cents to help...

The Bad Idea Interface
- Reviewd on: 2008-12-28 By: Barton Smith
I bought this camera in a rush on the advice of a local seller. I told him that I had really liked my Canon SD770 and was looking for something like it. He talked up the touch interface. Once I got it home, I realized how much work Apple must have done on the iPhone, because this thing was impossible to use. If you can't take the picture you want to when you want to, nothing else about the camera matters. I suspect that much of the trouble could be fixed with a firmware upgrade (I had the original firmware), but even then, what is wrong with having real buttons for zoom? I don't want to look at the screen to see where the zoom buttons are, and even if you find them, they are often unresponsive. The large zoom seems to come at the expense of the f# (compared to the Canons) and the pictures were usually noisy. The menus are not intuitive at all. I have one good thing to say: the time-lapse movie option is cool. At the end of the day, I returned it and bought an SD 880, and I am very happy.
