I should have read the product features more carefully. Unlike my Coolpix S3, the only way to "recharge" this camera is to remove, charge and replace the battery. There is no charging port for a base and for me, that's enough for me to choose another camera. |

It's really just junk. Stay away!

I am on my second camera and just looking for the way to get it fixed or returned. The first wouldn't work - kept getting errors and so I returned (Amazon was really great about that). Second camera doesn't work after 8 months of use. The camera also suffers from poor autofocus with auto f-stop so had to fix the f-stop Now the lense won't open and the camera is generally cranky. |

I have taken this camara to Afghanistan and love it. It is small enough to keep in my pocket and the quality is great even out the door of a helo the picture is still great quality. At Home I work as Law enforcement and use the camara all the time in investagations. Night shots are great as long as you know the limitations of the camara. |

Great camera for the price

This camera was just what I wanted. Easy to use and compact. For the price it can't be beat. Picture quality is good. I have used it outside and inside with no problems. There are 2 things I did not think about before purchase getting a larger Sandisk card (a must have) and if you like taking pictures close up the lense is a wide angle so the macro setting doesn't quite get in as far. However, the second can be adjusted with photo editing. Overall great camera great price. |
