Battery replacement kills this item
- Reviewd on: 7/31/2010 By: PaulandJillC
We've had this camera for three years. For the price I cannot complain about the photo quality and I drop lots of things and this has held up... However, the battery has to be replaced once a year and it costs $70. My parents also have this camera and the same problem. For a camera that I paid less than $200 for, this is not acceptable! The way I see it, this significantly raises the price of the camera, because I expect the rechargeable battery to last the life of the camera- I didn't take the cost of replacing the battery into account when I priced it. With our first child on the way, we are in the market for a new camera, because I cannot trust a camera that might randomly be dead and never want to charge again. |

have YET to receive this item, almost 5 MONTHS LATER.

I paid for this item as well as an express international shipping on APRIL 2nd, 2010. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THIS ORDER. the communication with this seller has been very poor and included excuses or reasons that it has been lost, etc (BOTH times). To say I am unhappy, is an understatement. The quality of customer service is beyond poor and clearly unacceptable. Especially to ask the customer, if I am "up waiting for a 3rd package"...seriously? give me a break. It should be overnighted, immediately. I commend those whom had good relations with this seller because for myself, it has been utterly, disgraceful. In an ideal world, I should not have to pay for this item, although I wonder if I was charged multiple times during this ordeal. Overall: UNFORTUNEATE. |

Sony Cybershot SAC-T70

For a small camera it works well, but I am older and the Image Stabilization really doesn't seem to help me much. I have a lot of out of focus pictures. Over all it is a good little camera. |

Not Impressed
- Reviewd on: 5/17/2010 By: Shawna Gehrke
I've had this camera for just over 2 years now and I'm just not impressed. The pictures taken outside are great but indoor are just terrible. The indoor/low light pictures have an orange tone to them and the figures are usually smeared looking. I liked the touch screen feature, but now it's starting to fail. You have to press the screen it the most percise spot for that "button" to work. I purchaced the protection plan so hopefully it can be fixed or better yet replaced. |
